Honey Sugar Scrub
If you have ever used a body sugar scrub, you know how amazing they are. Work the same magic on your face!
1 tsp. of honey
1/2 tsp. of sugar (either cane or brown — both work well)
Blend in bowl. Apply.
Rinse very thoroughly, as this recipe can be slightly sticky.
Homemade Acne Remedies #4: Yogurt
Yogurt is highly effective for treating acne as it consists of the vital nutrients for healthy body and skin. Yogurt consists of vitamins and minerals that play an active role in healing our skin and creating a tough immune system. We can apply yogurt topically as acne reducing mask or consume it orally and provide our body with the much needed nutrients that will help to reduce our acne. How to use Yogurt mask for treating acne?
Step 1: Wash your face thoroughly with warm water to remove all the dead skin cells and dust particles from your face. After carefully washing the face dry it slowly with washcloth.
Step 2: Take the yogurt and mix it well with a spoon. Make sure all the fruits that normally fall to the bottom of yogurt cup are mixed and floating in the yogurt mixture. Most of the fruits have healing effects for the skin as they consist of salicylic acid which is highly effective in reducing acne scars and pimples.
Step 3: Apply the yogurt evenly on your face with cotton ball. On the damaged spots apply thicker layer of yogurt mask in order to achieve better effect.
Step 4: Leave the yogurt mask on your face for a while so the solution gets deep into the pores. It is recommended to leave it on for 5-10 minutes.
Step 5: After that rinse it of gently. Use water to rinse it off and then pat it dry with washcloth or soft towel.
